CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

easily king david. there's a huge part of me that feels a connection with him, I wanna be like him. He wasn't scared of anything and he had such dependence on God. I love his psalms because of how real they are. they glorify God with both songs of praise and cries for help.

most North Dakotans [is that a word?] would shoot me if I said this. but I like the snow the most. I know people who come up to this part of the country in order to experience snow. It's something I've had all my life so as much as we complain about it up here [me included] I think we kind of take it for granted.

I'm probably not showing much respect for the holiday, but all I'm planning on doing is sitting home and playing videogames..... I plan to do some laundry to and I might call some friends to see what their up to. I don't have my niece and nephew OR work tomorrow.... so it's a free day for me
