Here’s Blank telling the cops that at 2:00 AM, he left the room and went to look for her. Went down to Knuckles’s. No one was there. At approximately 4:00 AM, Jane Doe arrived at their hotel room. This is per the husband, we assume, to the cops. Accessed their room on her own and used the key card reader to get in. Jane Doe told Blank that she must, quote, Must have fallen asleep. Jane Doe was apologetic. Blank notes that Jane Doe did not have a hard time walking and was not slurring her words. That’s it right there, folks. That’s why they did not bring charges. This is the husband. The cops are looking at text messages of the husband saying to her, You’re never out this late. It’s 2:00 AM. Then the text message cuts off, and he says, Where are you? Are you okay? Are you okay? No response. She was seen going to Pete Hegseth’s room at 1:30. By 2:00, she’s there. The communication with the husband clearly ends while she’s in Pete’s room. She doesn’t respond to any of those texts. He gets up and looks for her, and within two hours, she’s home…

If you read the entire police report, it seems pretty obvious that Jane Doe simply cheated on her husband and needed a cover story once her husband became concerned and started looking for her. I suspect that's why Hegseth was never charged with anything.

Pete Hegseth’s Mother Accused Her Son of Mistreating Women for Years

Penelope Hegseth made the accusation in an email to her son in 2018, amid his contentious divorce. She said on Friday that she regretted the email and had apologized to him.

Mr. Hegseth’s mother wrote in the email that she was upset about his treatment of Samantha, writing: “For you to try to label her as ‘unstable’ for your own advantage is despicable and abusive. Is there any sense of decency left in you?”

“She did not ask for or deserve any of what has come to her by your hand,” she said. “Neither did Meredith,” Mrs. Hegseth added, referring to his first wife.

Mrs. Hegseth forwarded a copy of her email to Samantha the same night she sent it to her son, according to documents reviewed by The Times. The Times obtained a copy of the email from another person with ties to the Hegseth family. The email does not describe in detail the circumstances that prompted Mrs. Hegseth to write it.​

Pete's mother did not intend for this to become public. She defends her son and has apologized to him.

The police report described the alleged offense as “Rape: Victim unconscious of the nature of the act,” and recommended that the case be forwarded to the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office for review.​

However, if you read the entire report, including all of the witness accounts, her story doesn't add up. Jane Doe said repeatedly that she was drugged and/or drunk, but there are multiple eyewitness accounts and VIDEO FOOTAGE that show Jane Doe perfectly sober. Her complaint hinges on the premise that she was "unconscious", but the evidence shows that was not the case.

There are multiple witness accounts in the report as well that stated Jane Doe did not seem intoxicated to them.

Additionally, the day after the alleged offense, Jane Doe's roommate said she "did not seem any different and was her normal self" and that she did not act like someone who was "hung over".
