I really dont like the dom comics. They annoy me.

I'm a fan of Megatokyo. Not really sure what else were supposed to say here...

Just talk about the most current update to MT. Like, how annoying the dom commic is. And why will Piro just stop the pain by never missing updates. (not that i think it is possible)

I really like it when hawk (applegeeks artist) draws megatokyo, the color just makes things so much better. And Hawk does it with style.

Just incase this seems to come out of no ware, hawk did todays MT

I've heard that Megatokyo is really good, but what is it about? (aren't they cheeper then most magnas??

It starts out with these two guys who are both gamers (one loves RPGs and dating sims, the other 1st and 3rd person shooters). They fly to Tokyo and then get stuck there after they spend all their money. Anyway, it's mostly a comedy about how these guys deal with a city where the city is regularly destroyed by monsters and ninjas are not uncommon.

It's a funny series, and you can buy the paperbacks (reccomended for at least the first vol, cause there are commentaries at the bottom of each page that help you understand whats going on). I think they are about the price of a normal manga, and there are only three of them that cover almost 600 strips. Well worth the price.

On the other hand, you can see the whole series on www.megatokyo.com , though it'll take a while. They are up to, what, strip # 630 or so?

Go to the main site, and the current strip will be displayed. At the bottom of it should be a pull down menu. Scroll down to the very bottom of it and you will be able to start scrolling through Megatokyo from the beginning.

You were right about all of it. 0|\/|6 is actually something I wasn't supposed to write here (sorry ). z3r6 is Zerg (an evil alien race from the game Starcraft). ru54 is rush.

The Zerg Rush is a tactic where you build a ton of weak little zerglings at the beginning of a game and rush into your opponents base before he can defend himself (first 1-2 min of the game). The "hehehe" is the laugh of the Zerg guy as he beats his opponents in the first couple minutes of a game that normally takes an hour or so.

Note: I think we should stop the 1337 classes before we really go off topic.

1) The rush refers to the wave of Zerglings that appear on your screen when you have just barely managed to build 2 soldiers. Zerglings are cheap and can be produced ridiculously fast. That is where the Zerg Rush came from.

2) 1337=Leet. I don't know either. I used to assume that the L was supposed to be pronounced "el" so that the whole thing would be said like "elite", but it's just leet. I guess it started elite and just turned into leet. That's what I think, anyway.

Anyway, now that all that's done. Back to Megatokyo (though leet is a big part of Largo's life. That and fighting zombies )

I do like it when some of the other guest artists (other than Dom) make an appearance. There was a period where other webcomic artitsts did about two weeks worth of strips, and most were really good.

Still, I have to go with Fred on art (Fred is the guy who draws Megatokyo, for anyone who doesn't know).

I loved his series of pics where he put wings on all the MT girls. I forget what it was called (Lost Wings or something like that), but I thought some of those were examples of his best work so far.
