Meeting online...then meeting in person......read this story!!

I chatted with this guy online then on the phone for a few hours and he wanted to meet me and said he thought i was really sweet etc.. so i went to meet him despite me not being able to send him a picture of myself (no scanner or digital camera)...i got there and we found eachother...he said "take a seat and i'll get the coffee what would you like"...i never saw him again he text me not long after "really sorry but i have gone it just wouldn't work i should have seen a pic"

I am not unattractive (not that that should have mattered) i'm in shock i guess...never had someone be that horrible to me before!! I feel like giving up on dating...trying...anything...and being an old maid and live with cats...i guess i'm just looking for some reassurance here...

Don't let this incident get you down. I mean, I can imagine how you must feel after being treated this way by the jerk, but you're worth way more than that. You're way too precious to get discouraged, biffy. And you're only 26!

God loves and adores you, and He's so much cooler than this online guy. Don't let the turkeys get you down, sister.

I think it's going to take me some recovery time but thanks for this one it made me feel better....i did waste petrol drove 30mins to see him...grrrrr but i got an hour of shopping in before hand (just a few essentials) but i certainly drove straight home after...scary thing is...i was in so much shock i don't even remember which way i went to get home....felt numb and i was shaking...not good hey!! I need to work on my resiliance and bounce back with prayer and God's love...Please don't anyone ever do this to anyone will you!!! Not nice...

I've only done that once, it didn't turn out bad for somewhere around 6 months. But I could definitely see something like that happening. People are so fickle.

That's horrible you had to go through that. But don't let it get you down, it just means that guy was a loser and didn't deserve you anyhow.
