When I first read what you posted, I thought the very same thing too. Then I mentioned it to my husband because he knows more about this stuff than me. He told me what I posted tonight. Although, he has no opinion Medjugorje or Fatima. He is neither for or against, I guess he is waiting for Rome to approve or disapprove.

I'm still grateful for your last post though. If for any other reason, we all learn and end up asking questions or reading up on stuff that we might normally not even think of.

God's Peace,

Debbie

Thanks. Not too many people against it really....or at least not too many willing to put up that much of a debate.

How bad can it be if it encourages one to say the rosary, read the bible, go to confession and receive the eucharist. All good things in my opinion, for what little that's worth!!!

I read where one of the "children" (they're like MY age now!!) lives part time in Boston. I'd be curious to see whereabouts...might just have to look them up!

I think you're talking about Ivan (pronounced Yvonne, I think) Dragicivic. The oldest of the two male visionaries. Yes. He will often speak to groups and such, but not because he is any sort of attention grabber. In my experience with him, he's strikes me as a rather quiet and private man, but one also wishes to do our Lady's work by going and speaking to anyone who will listen to what she has to say.

Peace,

Greg

This link was posted near the beginning of this thread. It is a book that is 200 and some pages long, so I thought that I would post some quotes from it as a read some of it.

I guess this makes me one of those detractors that you were looking for. Any opinions about this?

My opinion is that I must be missing something. How does that brief snip-it in any way seem to "incriminate" anyone? What are you gleaning from it that I'm not?

Father Jozo Zovko, parish priest of Medjugorje, told the seers that he would prefer the last three apparitions to take place in the parish church.

Why would a parish priest be deciding where he would prefer that Our Lady appear. Does he decide these things? Has there ever been any other case where visionaries (or in this case a priest who isnn't even a visionary) tells her where she will appear.

The seers expressed anxiety that this might result in many of those attending the apparitions on the hill ceasing to come, but they eventually agreed.

Why are they concerned that people will stop coming? Wouldn't this cause visionaries as themselves to be concerned that Our Lady might not appear unless they go to where she has asked them to to? Again this doesn't make sense. In the past the visionary has always followed Our Lady, Our Lady does not follow the visionaries.

As far as I've read, the visionaries now live in different places, yet still get the visions....so wouldn't it stand to figure that wherever the visionaries go...that's where the vision will occur? It's not like they were telling Our Lady where to go at that time.....they just realized that she appears to them wherever they are, so knowing that they decided to go to this church at the time that she normally appears to them.
