Meditate with Barbie????

I didn't know where to post this but I came across this Barbie called "Breathe with me Barbie", because I don't know how to put up links you would have to google it first.

I dont, and never had children but it sure made me wonder how parents manage these days if this is some of the stuff encouraged, I mean this doll is sitting in a yoga position, you push a button on her neck and she takes children through five different meditations.
Has anyone else seen it?
This seems to be reaching out to children on a whole new level now.

So what is bad about a kid learning a breathing exercise ? At least some comments seemed to be quite positive.

I am sure if there is a market for it they will develop Christian breathe with Barbie and Jesus doll where they record barbie saying something like "now you take a deep holy breath and think of Jesus" instead of saying what they probably say now like "take a deep breath and concentrate on yourself" or whatever.

@Heavenhome , Barbie has always followed fads, and fads are not always edifying.

I use Barbie elements for my custom lay figures. (The figures are neutral.) It is just the set themes where parents need to exercise discernment.

Would the meditations and focus on breathing help a person to think before speaking out rashly?

Goat yoga is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. All the goats see is something to climb on and have fun (good for them).

What's wrong with that?

Stress is a serious problem that leads to chronic illness. Teaching people from a young age how to cope is not a bad thing.

There are countless studies proving meditation is effective and those that meditate regularly are happier, less stressed etc.

There is nothing wrong with meditation.

"Concentrate on your breathing, the air moving in, and moving out"

And the point is to reduce unwanted thoughts that are causing stress and not producing helpful results. Kids need to learn to control their thoughts and actions. So do adults for that matter.
