I think "Bat out of Hell" was definately his best album. Gettin buzzed, and singing along to "paradise by the dashboardlights" at the top of your lungs, together with the rest of the crowd...

...aaahhhh :)

(Is Amie reading?)

" Oh baby you're the only thing in this whole world
that's pure and good and right
And wherever you are, an wherever you go,
there's always gonna be some light

Hi Kevin
I have made both of these and they are delicious...

Ingredients:
1-1 and 1/2 pounds ground beef or ground sirloin
2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
1 egg
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
2 tablespoons chopped onion
BBQ sauce to taste

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, except for the BBQ sauce. put into meatloaf pan or shape into an oval and put in baking dish. Pour BBQ sauce over the top. Cook for 1 - 1 1/2 hours at 350. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

and the other:

1 and 1/2 pound of ground beef
1 egg
1 chopped onion
1 cup of milk
1 cup of dried breadcrumbs (or cracker crumbs)
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons mustard
1/3 cup of ketchup

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl combine beef, egg, onion, milk, and bread or cracker crumbs. Season with salt and pepper and put it in a loaf pan or baking dish.

In a small bowl mix mustard, ketchup and brown sugar and pour over meatloaf. Cook for one hour at 350

If all else fails you can always use the Lawrys meatloaf seasoning and mix with ground beef or turkey :)

I am a single guy living in Anchorage Alaska. Does anyone know how to make a killer meatloaf will ease.

Kevin

It's pretty simple...it all depends on the flavoring you're in the mood for ;) And it's mostly eyeballing how much you want to put into the mixture:

1 pound ground beef (fat, low fat or lean), thawed
grounded crackers or packaged breadcrumbs (2 TBSP or eyeball it)
salt
pepper
beau monde seasoning
ketchup
BBQ sauce
A-1 Steak sauce
worchestershire sauce
1 egg

with clean hands, mix all the ingredients together with the thawed ground beef, put into a glass or metal loaf pan, then you make a "trough" in the middle of the loaf, & pour in additional sauce (whatever flavor you're in the mood for). Bake @ 350° for one hour.

Bake a potato along with the meatloaf for one hour, and you'll have a hearty meal...along with green beans! MMM! :yum:

I make this meatloaf all the time, and my family loves it. :)

Ha! My recipe is easier than all of you, and quite good, I think!

1/2lb. ground beef
1/2 package Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion soup mix
about 10-15 saltine crackers, crumbled
1 egg
2Tbsp ketchup

mix it all up by hand, squeeze a little more ketchup or barbeque sauce on the top, then bake in the oven at 350 for about 45 minutes.
Easy enough for you?? lol :yum:

yeah I think pecan takes the lead with easiest recipe ;)
those listed sound great, i'll have to try them both...

Hey Kevin if you ever want to impress anyone, I make a mean pumpkin bread ;)

Hey Amie if you ever want to completely blow me away... smile at me. ;)

I agree Pecan's probably the easiest. Someone would have to advise you eat out or have somebody else make the meatloaf for you, to come up with something easier...

(unless that Lipton mix is virtually impossible to come by :p)

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 small onion, chopped
3/4 cup cracker crumbs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 5x9 inch loaf pan.
Press the brown sugar in the bottom of the prepared loaf pan and spread the ketchup over the sugar.
In a mixing bowl, mix thoroughly all remaining ingredients and shape into a loaf. Place on top of the ketchup.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour or until juices are clear.
(I just mix everthing together....and bake it like that....it is great)

Hi Kevin...sure do know how...I make it in the skillet
and takes no more time then a regular burger...
Put your chopped meat in a bowl...add an egg or two
and some chopped onion and green pepper if you like and a hand full of corn meal...Mix real good...Put butter or oil in skillet ...When hot..make like big burgers with your mixture...4 can fit at one time...then you have for the next night too...cook about 10 min.'s on each side....How's that for easy ? I would love to visit and see Alaska sometime in the Summer......
