Meat eating and Hell

Someone put a post in this forum stating the meat eaters where burn in the lake of fire.Well I want some to show the text that says that. You know what I've also discover that and I was once and adventist that the majority of Adventists are brain washed and are spoon fed a bunch of inforation without the facts and resources to back it. and a lot are misguided Oh! By the wayMy daily relationship with my lord and savior is more important to me than weather I meat or not. . You want to know why I left becuse of all the legalistic garbage.I discovered that I didn't have to do all the things the church said I had to do to be in heaven with Jesus. Yes I keep the Sabbath , but in my own way and Gods way Do i pay Tithe yes But to charitable organizations But it all comes down to this you can do all these legalistic things that the church says you have to do , but if you don't have a personal relationship with Christ. YOU ARE LOST!WETHER YOU EAT MEAT OR NOT

Honor you said it under Was Jesus a vegitarian # 42 You implied it But let ask you a question When Christ was hanging on the cross and the theif ask him to remember him when he come into your kingdom and what did Chirst say Today you will be with me in paradise . Did Christ say now just a minute have you kept all the commandments and have you done this or done that ,No ! And why because Christ knew what was in the man's heart ,but it si amazing to me how quick people are to rush to judgement. and you know what the person who is being critized may be closer to Christ than the person being critical There is only one person who knows thats the person and Jesus Christ Now if I misunderstood your statement then I apologize. . But I beleive that people get so wrapped up in doctrine and legalizism and don't do this and don't do that that they loose what this life is about and it comes down to this FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON THAT WHO SOEVER BELIEVED IN HIM WOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE FOR GOD SENT NOT HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO CONDENM THE WORLD, BUT THAT THE WORLD THROUGH JESUS MIGHT BE SAVED JOHN 3:16& 17 and isn,t thats what this life is all about is telling people that don't know about the love of God and the sacrifice made for us.

I will guarantee that if Jesus walked the earth today as back then--He would not touch the contaminated carcasses of animals.

All one needs to do today to see the clear dangers of flesh eating is READ. The warnings are all over the place and so those who show disregard for their bodies will reap the wage. Not to mention the savage brutality those poor animals endure just so some can 'enjoy' their blood.

I think the underlined sentence is what you are referring to. The WAGE I am talking about is the physical damage that one will encounter because of flesh eating. This is why I said all one had to do was READ or even listen to TVto find out the facts. Science is telling people everyday to avoid meats. So I am sorry if you thought I was talking about your salvation. I WASN'T!

Besides, as I think you may know, I, as an SDA don't believe in 'hell' as most other religions do, and so I surely wouldn't have made that comment in the first place--lol.

Oh and PS--I really think trying to use the thief on the cross as an example about meat eating is not a good one. The beauty of that whole conversation shouldn't be polluted with our petty agenda's. Don't you think?

Honor you are entitled to what you believe but if you relie on TV for all of your information. you really should do some independent research you might find that meat isn't as bad as you might think. and there is a lot of miss information out there. the usda has very strong regulations that have to be followed right to the letter. Oh an just as a little side note I just saw a recent survey and sats and eat eaters are out living vegitarians by 3to5 years. now that survey was not done by unbyss gruop. so I would say if you hada group that was vegitarian they would prohabily come up with something else. BTW--did you notice he has not apologized for his error and misrepresentation of my comments but instead goes on to bash and misrepresent others just as badly? He even picked up a cheer leader along his misinformed journey. I guess misery does love company.

He's a former Adventist, as he stated in the OP, so I'm sure that he is aware of the Adventist belief on the final punishment of the wicked.

Yes Sophia Thank you I'm a forner SDA and I understand the SDA meaning of what will happen to the wicked But you know since I left the church and found the truth and don't concern myself with legalistic agends I' ve found more peace in my heart and found that my relationshipwith my Lord is much closer than any time in my life. When I took all the doctrine and dogma, and legalizism and looked at the man Jeus my life change I use public trans portation to getto schol and run errands I don't even own a car I have a drivers license , but when I'm on the bus i met a man named Paul . Paul and I talk about our love for the Lord and people ask us questions when we are talking We both love Jesus We are both christians of no denomination. and yet people want to know more and so we tell them about our Lord and Saviuor Jesus and how He takes care of us and our families So when Paul and see each other maybe we don't see one another for a couple of days When we see each other we hug eachother sayWell you lnow the Lord did this for me and the Lord did that for me and it starts all over again. So here are two christian men telling other people about Jesus just by converstion. I don't know what is in Paul's heart all I know is he loves the Lord and I same way only Jesus Knows

Honor you need to look at post# 4 I did apolgize , but you may have missed it and in your tirad to put me down and be critical, but I forgive you.I left the SDA church because of totalitarinosm, legalism and not enough Jesus Know one knows what is in another person's heart excpt that person and Jesus Christ. and I had a pastor say one time there is going to be a lot of surpises in heaven
