There's no deeper meaning behind mine. When I first had to choose an Internet username, the Latin word chrono, which means "time" came to mind. It was already taken, so I had to drop the "h" to make it unique. I've stuck with it in some form or another ever since, for about five years now.

I recently considered changing it to "Hipster," which is my swing name, but I decided against it. I'll save my swing name for the dancing message boards.

Well, I used to be known on the LBMB as Kat2, which was my original user name. That was because my real-life nickname is Kat. (short for Kathryn...my family calls me Kathy but my babysitter when I was little nicknamed me Kat.) The 2 came from me going to a message board where there was already a Kat, so I took Kat2.

Then I saw a lot of cool Christian-sounding names at the LBMB and I wanted one. I've always loved rainbows...being an 80's child, my favorite cartoon was Rainbow Brite (which I still collect from eBay.) ;) (For the record, the other two names I came up with were Rainbow Chaser and Noah's Rainbow.) In Genesis we see that the rainbow is the symbol of God's promises, hence, Rainbow Promises became my name. Later on I added Joy as a middle name. I've always had a problem with depression and it was once prophesied over me that I would someday be a minister of joy. So the Joy is there to remind me of that. :)

Sometimes it gets confusing at the Pizza Parlor. I sign all my posts "Kat." There's a woman there with the username Katerina, and they call her Kat, and mostly, with the exception of people who know me well, they call me RJP or Rainbow Joy, but sometimes I see Kat and think they're talking to me, LOL!

when we write fiction we cannot shut out people and places and if we do we cannot shut out ourselves when we write and assuming we are real and the paper(screen)the story will also be real. On the other hand when we write non-fiction unless we write frantically when an event is happening we tend to juice up the story to make it more interesting for the reader and certain "spices(i.e. descriptive nouns, verbs and adjectives) added to the flavor of the <broth> give a false impression of what the broth is" some people care about everything in their food others just like to enjoy it. I try to please both kinds of people in my life by being all things to all people in order to win some and my reporting may not be accurate always but I try to put me into the "stories" I tell and am "brutally" honest when it is necessary for a practical application, which is not to say that I lie, I am just more creative than most. If you don't call me on it it is your fault for not having ears to hear.

Quaff means to drink deeply and repeatedly.

Jesus told the woman at the well John 4:14 "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shal give him shall never thirs; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."

So, repeatedly, I drink at the well of living water. :D
