I have had the same debate about Christianity vs. Jehovah's Witness idenity before on another forum, but decided now there is no reason I should not get to the bottom of it.This lady (username Elvira) attends her Kingdom Hall every week, reads the Bible every day, and says God's laws "are written on my heart." But the following discussion is keeping me frustrated as someone who wants to study evangelism through trial and error. I know I can't change her mind, but really want to get something out of this experience, not just read books and listen to pastors.

Yeah, I believe what the Bible says. Jesus never claimed to be Jehovah God. He always identified himself as God's son.
Jesus explicitly said he and the Father are ONE, not two. There is a reason Son is always capitalized in the Bible when referring to Jesus, just like male pronouns are always capitalized in reference to God/Jehovah/Lord. If Jesus was just a normal conceived human, I can guarantee you the S would not be capitalized.
You did not answer my questions. Do you believe Jesus not only died on the cross, but rose again three days later? If so, do you believe Jesus ascended back to heaven 40 days after his resurrection? These two events would not be possible if he was just a regular human with two biological parents are are well documented in the Bible.
Yes, and let's see if you are smart enough to discern the context of what Jesus meant...I'll give you a hint...he did not mean literally..."so that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, so that the world may believe that you sent me. I have given them the glory that you have given me, in order that they may be one just as we are one. I in union with them and you in union with me, in order that they may be perfected into one, so that the world may know that you sent me and that you loved them just as you loved me." John 17:21-23
"You sent me" refers to the virgin birth - the fact that Jesus is God's Son, not Joseph's son. He was not conceived like any other human baby. Do you believe that?
Until you acknowledge your own mistake, you'll get no more responses from me . . . got it?
I did not make a mistake. "I and the Father are One." There is absolutely nothing else it can mean besides Jesus and his Father are the SAME GOD. It means Jesus Himself IS GOD. Proof of this shortly followed with the Resurrection and Ascension. If Jesus was just a man with two human parents, conceived naturally like every other human since Cain and Abel, none of these events would have been possible. So to believe the entire Bible, you must believe those events proved Jesus is God.
