Sure. I've seen citation lists numbering in the low hundreds ALL OVER bathroom walls. You have got to be kidding. Anybody can post, change, delete anything on Wiki without review or control. Info at Wiki is about as reliable as the scribbling on a public facility wall.
Millions of "undesirables" would not have boarded trains if they had the means to fight back.
I have not done so recently but on more than one occasion I have changed entries at Wiki to show that it can be done.Sure. I've seen citation lists numbering in the low hundreds ALL OVER bathroom walls.
Yes. But didn't you just complain about Wiki for the reason it's unreliable? Every article has citations and I thikn YOU are taking the position that wiki is not reliable while the other poster is saying they ARE reliable.I have not done so recently but on more than one occasion I have changed entries at Wiki to show that it can be done.
But I have shown that you source lists reputable sources e.g. to legal journals, which support my post.
You try reading the article. I like that unsupported opinion "The majority of historians and fact have described the argument..."
Also from your article.

Previously you seemed to struggle with the idea that you should care about anyone other than yourself and your immediate family, but besides that: Breaking down the NRA-backed theory that a good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun
Ringo
Yeah. I looked. The "legal journal" article, first off, really doesn't delineate what his SPECIFIC evidence is. Also, if you'd read Ringo's source, you'd note that that particular piece of research (which, by the way was from 1997) has since been ROUNDLY dismissed by people who ACTUALLY study Nazi history.I have not done so recently but on more than one occasion I have changed entries at Wiki to show that it can be done.

So I shouldn’t worry about my family then, I should worry more about the lives of people I don’t know than the people I love with all my heart? Why are these people’s lives more important than my wife & children? I didn’t own a gun until after I had a wife and children. I bought one because it’s my responsibility to protect
No that’s a lie. Here’s what I actually said.
You should worry about them equally, but fair enough. I honestly did misread what you said earlier.
Ringo
Im sorry for saying that was a lie, that was uncalled for please forgive me brother. I shouldn’t have falsely accused you like that.
No worries! I misread what you said, so the fault is on my end.

Let’s ban McDonalds.Let's ban box cutters. Or charge an exorbitantly large "insurance" fee for owners of box cutters.
Because elections have consequences. And the party in charge wants to ban guns. How did this thread get to be about guns?
Perhaps America should give banning guns a try. Plenty of countries have little to no gun ownership and they don't have mass shootings or high rates of gun crime.Because elections have consequences. And the party in charge wants to ban guns.
The absolute closest we (Americans) could get is to first Amend the Constitution to leave the gun issue up to the States.Perhaps America should give banning guns a try. Plenty of countries have little to no gun ownership and they don't have mass shootings or high rates of gun crime.
Sadly in the US it's not a case of wondering if there will be another mass shooting, but rather, when will the next mass shooting be.
Keeping guns, believing they are the answer to combatting violence is wrong. Guns are not the answer. They change nothing for the better, the killings and shootings continue almost unabated.
Insanity is often defined as continuing to do exactly the same thing and hoping for a different result.
Unfortunately, I am inclined to agree with you. On both counts. The absolute closest we (Americans) could get is to first Amend the Constitution to leave the gun issue up to the States.
Ain’t happening before 2050 (if ever).
