How many of you have in your town or city a billboard saying that May 21st, 2011 will be Judgment day? From what I have heard and have even seen, these billboards are fairly prevalent throughout the entire country.

Even though I do believe we are in the end times and that the end is impending, I do not promote or believe that the end will come on May 21st, 2011. This date is not biblical. Just as Jesus taught us in Matthew 24:36, "No one knows about the day or hour, not even the Angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

One truth I do know is the fact that I am so thankful for my Salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ and I know that when He does decide to return, I will be waiting with outstretched arms!

judgement day is not a day i look forward too. but if it comes earlier then i'd like, and it will, then so be it. I'll have tried to live a life of love by then.

honestly? I'm thinking judgement day should come 10 million years from now, that would be nice.

Harold Camping (the guy who claims to know the date and is preaching it) counters this verse often by using Daniel 12 (KJV) verse 9: And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

He claims this verse shows that the words will be (have been) unsealed in "the time of the end."

My response to this person is based in Deuteronomy 18:2: When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him. - This is the third such prediction of the Day of Judgement by Harold Camping (both previous ones never came to light), I have no qualms with ignoring the rantings of this presumptuous false prophet.

isn't it funny how the bible clearly says not to listen to a prophet who's words don't come true, and yet there are people who STILL LISTEN TO HIM!

thats like when the bible clearly says "DO NOT GET DRUNK THIS ISNT CHRISTIAN BEHAVIOR" and people STILL GET DRUNK.

This is just a sick way of gathering support for this radio station. The call sign is always plastered on his billboards... I bet on May 21, 2011, this 89 year old will probably face judgement. (wouldn't that be something). He doesn't have many years left, which is another reason why he's doing this. Poor, pitiful man.

its a beuatiful world, but the false prophets are a stink that rises up to Gods nose, and what does God do when he smells a stink? he busts out a freakin flame thrower and torches the land until only dead bodies and ashes remain. then he pee's in the ashes, and afterwords he throws bugs into it to fester and brood and bite, and then he takes away all the hope. after that he rests his feet on the messy pile of crap, and those who are righteous bathe their feet in the blood of the wicked.
