We are not promised the earth Matt 5:5 but the heavens in phil 3:20-21

Have you ever Cut your eye out according to Matt 5:27-32 why are they doing this... connect to Matt 13:36-43 you will understand

Matt 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations

see the difference

these are the easy one to show

Brother in Christ,

I showed it to you in my post of 25 January but you don't seem to be listening.

You have showed us ZERO exegesis from Matt. 5-7 to show that it refers to the Millennium.

Sincerely,
OzSpen

thats right... matt 13:24-32 is a parable... yet God being good He interpets it in Matt 13:36-43

we inherit the Heavens where we rule with Christ over the earth.. Phil 3:20-21, 1 cor 6:2

as Jews will rule over cities... Luke 19:19

changing what God wrote... are you an apostle who is lead by the spirit to comunicate His word

according to eph 2:20.. apostle were a foundation of the church... 2 thousand years latter are they still working on the foundation

no

So God does not do what he says ... eph 1:4, 1 thes 5:24

And you should not...

love for you to deal with these verse

Ok since this thread seems to have gone of track I will get it going back in the right direction. The Sunday School lesson last week was on this topic, and we are indeed commanded to be perfect, to be complete before the Lord.

How are we to do that, the answer is found in various places throughout the Bible, a few passages that attribute perfection to a person:

Genesis 6:9 ...Noah was perfected among his family. Noah walked with God
Genesis 17:1 .... I am the All Mighty God! Walk before me and be perfect; (talking to Abram)
Job 1:1 ...And this man was perfect and upright, and fearing God, and turning away from evil. (talking of Job)

Also read 1 Chronicles 28:9, 1 John 4:17, Hebrews 13:20 & 21 and lastly Ephesians 4:12

If we truly love God, and by that accept His plan for salvation and forgiveness, our life will be perfect. There is a lot of stuff that goes along with completely loving God, but that is how we will become perfect.

John 13:34-35... being in God's will

1 thes 5:16-18
eph 5:17-32

Very good scriptures indeed.

I especially like 1 Thess. 5:16-17, it is like God said if you are not thankful for a hotdog, I will not give you a steak. That whole passage just gave me some peace.

I owned a truck for about 4 years, this truck had served me well and I liked it very much. Over the past few months I had put to use for the Lord on a number of occasions, helping to deliver goods to families in need and things like that. On one occasion, this is something that is very odd, a complete stranger came into a place where I was working. He drove a semi-truck that had run out of fuel about 2 miles from my store. He had no gas can and we did not sell diesel, so he was in a bind, to top it off, it was a very cold and windy night. So while I was talking with him about how he can get the things he needed to get going again, the Lord told me to help the man.

So to this complete stranger, I gave the keys to my truck, told him where he could buy a gas can big enough and where he could purchase diesel. I managed to to get him steered in the right direction and not knowing if I would see him or my truck again, I walked with the Lord and did as He told me to do. I, strangely enough, was ok with this man having my truck, after all if God told me to do this, what bad could come of it. About 30-45 minutes later, he came back, said he got everything going and would be ok from here. He thanked me, and then tried to pay me for loaning him my truck, which I would not accept because I was happy to do the Lord's work.

Now that I look back at it, that was pretty close to the last day that the truck ran fine, after that day anything and everything that could go wrong with it did. The only other day I remember it running right was the day we delivered Christmas presents to people in the city on Christmas Eve. After that it pretty much fell apart. So I had to either put a few thousand bucks into the truck which was 15 years old and had 200,000 miles or purchase at least a newer vehicle. I began to weigh the pros and cons and pray about it, I did not want another car payment as the truck had been paid for pretty much since we bought it.

As I sought out the answer, I found a nice car that the price had been reduced significantly, almost in half, so I prayed about it some more, and felt that maybe I should go ahead and get the car, that maybe God was saying through all the circumstances and me at least in this case had proved faithful in my walk with Him that he would bless me a little with a nicer vehicle.

I had been feeling bad about getting a different car since I knew that the Lord had used my truck to help his people and that meant a lot to me. The truck had a name as most guys tend to name their vehicles, and its name was Big Poppa because it was a big ol' truck. I think I will name the car My Blessing, but maybe in Hebrew.

I thank God for His blessing, and that is what he wants, a nice sincere thank you.

Thank you GOD for blessing me!

I recently had a similar thing happen... old car running but showing its age... money comes in.. .after I found a good deal but I was wishy washy on deciding.. so it decided for me by quitting... moving me to making a decision. IT is all in the timing... just at the right moment .. the Lord puts it all together.
