CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

but it's ok for one to be confident right? Not saying I am, I still have insecurities. Are you sure it doesn't mean that the humble are blessed, or all of what both of us have said? Anyone can answer this question, thank you!

i think that the humble don't think highly of themselves nor are they self seeking, so yes the humble person is richly blessed for he or she will be of one mind with Jesus on lots of things for He was a humble person as well. We know from Jesus that God our Heavenly Father, for all His might, is humble at heart and speaks to those who are humble the best.
To be confident in Christ does not mean you are not humble but rather that you know God is looking after you, so whatever happens He will give you the ability to get through it, no matter what, you have found true faith in Christ and in His promises. It is awesome to have confidence in Christ. It makes one humble to consider His faithfulness towards us as 100 percent when our faithfulness towards Him hasn't nowhere near reached such percentages. Grow on i suppose. The more we grow in Christ's spiritualities the more true we become as we really are in Him and from Him from eternity. Talk about finding your soul mate when you find Jesus that is exactly what you will find - your soul Mate!
