We also have to take into account the writer of the book. to a fellow apostles they would have felt betrayed by judas' actions hence calling him a traitor however jesus never calls him a traitor or says that he will not be forgiven. I believe at the last supper when jesus pases him the bread it says something to the effect of "the one who will betray me" but thats not really conclusive either. the way the books are written we are lead to believe that he was not forgiven however to restate it jesus didn't write the accounts we read
about the gut bursts open part. this might be a little grotesque but, I'm from the country and if something dies ie. roadkill and nothing bothers it then it will blow up kinda like a balloon and eventually will (for a lack of a better word) "pop" -- -- this would be my guess as to why exactly the accounts don't match exactly but this is a natural accourance
