“Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their owner’s table.”

What is the meaning here??

The woman was a Canaanite and Jesus told her salvation is meant for the Jews. The woman's reply meant that even though she was a gentile she could still attain salvation. Jesus commended her for faith, even though she was a gentile.

The event marks a turning point in the gospel of Matthew. Afterwards, the Jews more and more reject Jesus while the gentiles more and more accept him. It culminates after the resurrection at Matt 28:19 when Jesus tells the apostles to go to "all nations", meaning go to the gentiles.

She was a Gentile, and "dog" was a term used for Gentiles, because they were separated from the commonwealth of the house of Israel and considered unclean. Jesus' purpose on earth (other than his death) was to preach to the nation of Israel, to confirm the promises of their fathers, and to perform miraculous and extraordinary wonders as evidence to them. When he told her, "It is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs," this is what he draws out. I am to do this for Israel, not for Gentiles right now. Her reply was amazing. She said, "Even dogs eat the crumbs that falls from their master's table." Very clever imo.

That’s interesting. A lot of times I feel like a gentile. Don’t let anyone fool you into thinking you can’t be loved or saved because your race/background/heritage

That's true, but remember "gentile" refers to non-Jew, so unless you are a Jew you are a Gentile.

Jesus didn't say "right now." He said only that he was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

He gives no indication of a Plan B.
