  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

“Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.”

Is this denial a verbal denial or can it also include a kind of action denial, for eg. living an immoral lifestyle, if you live an immoral lifestyle people would not know you are a Christian and living an immoral lifestyle is not something people think a Christian would do, so could that be included as a denial of Christ according to that verse?

Hello Hello There . . *smiles*

While opinions never hold as much weight as documentable fact, I would think it obvious that denial encompasses far more than just our words. Faith, after all, is a matter of the heart, and if our hearts are denying him, our actions will follow suit. Words are often treacherous, and easily tossed around. The old adage "actions speak louder than words" most definitely hold true in this case.
