You read "if it's about salvation, it's the elect", rather than looking at the context. Not the best way to read Scripture IMO.If 1 Tim 2:1 is about salvation yes.
Yes, any scriptures regarding Gods will or desire to save anyone, no matter who it is, their social standing, race, or whatever, its in regards to the Promise Matt 1:21, see Gods will, desires are in conformity with His Purpose and Promise.You read "if it's about salvation, it's the elect", rather than looking at the context. Yes and this is because "those who believe the Gospel" are the ones who are consequently chosen. That's the way round that God's logic is.In Mark 16:15-16, Jesus says that those who believe the Gospel and are baptized will be saved. Why do you dispute what Jesus said? Jesus said nothing about being chosen in that context. Are we to believe what Jesus said, or are we to believe that God is a trickster who offers salvation to mankind (i.e. the Gospel) while denying the capacity for many to believe? The word of God does not say that God blocks us from believing - it is only the trickster word of Calvin that proclaims that doctrine of devils.
Interesting! Your friends in the Calvinistic camp John Piper and R.C. Sproul disagrees with you, but who are they anyway?Yes, any scriptures regarding Gods will or desire to save anyone, no matter who it is, their social standing, race, or whatever, its in regards to the Promise Matt 1:21, see Gods will, desires are in conformity with His Purpose and Promise.
You have it backwards, its those who are chosen that consequently are called and they believe. 1 Pet 2:9Yes and this is because "those who believe the Gospel" are the ones who are consequently chosen. That's the way round that God's logic is.
Dont matter what they say, 1 Tim 2:4 and Matt 1:21 are the same People who shall be saved.Interesting! Your friends in the Calvinistic camp John Piper and R.C. Sproul disagrees with you, but who are they anyway?

Seek the Lord while He may be found;
Call upon Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
And let him return to the Lord,
And He will have compassion on him,
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.
— Isaiah 55:6-7
