Mathematics is a fascinating subject.
Math makes the world go round.
Math makes you read this.
Math is simply put: The most awesome thing in this universe. ( )

But I made this thread for two purposes:

1. I want fun and interesting information about math to be spread, so post what you like regarding math.
Links, pictures, videos, jokes, facts, theories, assumptions, impossibilities etc.

2. Ask questions about math, someone might actually answer them.

Trinity: 1 + 1 + 1 = 1

Answer me this:

If 3/3=1, and 7/7=1, why doesn't 0/0=1?

It doesn't add up.

Simply put.
Something with no value(0) can not go into anything.
Division of zero is undefined.

Yeah, I get god is the solution to all equations.

But where is the fun if we stopped there?

I even made a math story up for my Mensa buddies:

Farmer Brown has ten cows. He sells some of them, and now he has twelve cows. How many cows did Farmer Brown sell?

Personally I avoid trick questions though I can't take it when I spend hours thinking about different strategies to tackle it when I just had to read it closer.

I think that's more of a riddle than math though

Two atheists once. You have to use roughly twice as much gas with the agnostic. Travelling exclusively in my stretch hummer limo is getting quite expensive.

therefore 0 = 0.n

But anything times zero equals zero.

Therefore n is undefined thus 0/0 is undefined.
