Mathais's story
My Characters Background Reviled!!! Enjoy.
When Mathais and His twin Brother, James was born his family rejoiced, because he was the first boys born to his family. He already had 3 sisters, Terra, Flora and Diana.
Mathais and James were brought up in the Lord from a early age, He and his Brother excepted christ as Savoir at age 7. His brother got a sling. And he got a hunting Dagger as gift(people in land that throw partys wenever people become Christans).
2 Years later though, Hordes of Orcs and other Evil Beasts threteaned the land in wich Mathais and his Family lived in.
The Hordes were led by a Evil Orc named Shalisk, he and his Horde belived in a false god called Talik-Ka. Shalisk hated the Christans.
So he waged war! Mathais's land has been at peace for more than 300 years, so they were ill equiped to fight the Hordes and fell withen a year.
Nothing was left standing, Forests were burned, the Army was crushed,
Humans and Elves, young and Old alike. None survived, with the exception of a small band of Humans.
Mathais will never forget the day the Orcs came to their village.
The Orcs took all the women, killed most of the boy's, and killed all Men, with the exception of one man, Mathais father. Him, his Father and his Brother narrowly Excaped. And they went into hiding in a forest.
While in Hiding Mathais's Father taut him and his brother how to fight. He taut Mathais how to shoot a bow, and taut Him the ancient art of the Magick Long Sword(wich was still being passed down trough his family). Then he also taut the Magick Spear to James and also taut him more about his sling, Then Mathais got a Composite bow, and James got a Spear. Both wich their father made for them.
All was doing well untell the Orcs found them. Mathais's father gave his life so his 2 sons could excape. Mathais decided they should head south since the Orcs came from North they would travel south and hopefully away from the Horde.
They kept traveling south untell they reached a church. The church looked older than thing they had seen before, It was carved out of the cliff side, and some of the rock had chipped of. They decided to go in.
It was amazing inside: It had Carvings in the rock, wich none of the 2 could read. and at the center of the room was a raised platform. On the platform was A Long Sword with part of the blade gone, their was also 2 Bibles And a Cross Necklace with a Cross Ring. The both walked up to the platform, Mathais felt drawn to the Long Sword and the cross necklace and one of the Bibles. And James felt Drawn to the other Bible and Cross Ring.
When they took the items of the platform it lit up instintly! Then words apperred on it saying:
Do not lose hope, do not give up
The Lord is Around you like the Air
Here is what you haft to do
Travel Across the sea and the find
the one called Consi
Reforge the sword at
the place of Salamandastron

The rest was to blured to read. Except at the bottom of the platform:
Let the Necklace and ring remind you of the Lord.
So they both vowed to Return one day to free their land......
