  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hehe... I don't have that problem  But yeah, that is a pretty thin strap. Maybe the strap is for the look and really its a strapless support.
Ha - I remember those days! My bust used to be fairly small too :)

Hmmm... it could be strapless support. I wouldn't trust it - although theoretically it'd be OK when you were IN the water... bouyancy already provided!

It's actually more supportive than it looks trust me. I have that one and I've gone from a C to a DD now, if it weren't supportive I wouldn't be wearing it because it could be rather uncomfortable. The top is one that without the strap it's pretty tight enough to stay in place, you don't keep having to adjust it at all. The strap does help as well, it's not just for looks although you can wear it without the strap I wouldn't.

Don't get it yet!!! ^_^

Wait until you're a little further along, as most of my cousins had babies in the summer, and thought they'd be okay with the 'regulation' D cup (most of them are between B&C outside of pregnancy/lactating) that most maternity swimmers come in - only to find they went up to F's and G's and what not!!! ^_^

Yeah, the ones with specific cup sizes could be bad :)

Theoretically, I should only go up one more cup size at the most before the birth (gone up 1.5 so far)... :prayer:

This suit doesn't have a cup size, so it should work no matter what, I am more worried about belly poking out the bottom.... but I'd say that I am a B milkless, and a heavy B now (oww).... by the end of this pregnancy I will expect to be a C again, a heavy C, but I am a very tiny person if I had a DD on my chest I would have really big problems. I was was impressed by how they looked right after David's birth though, but I am just guessing a C because I was wearing a nursing bra which are adjustable. :D

I'm pretty small myself, not quite as thin as you but still petite, I started out at 114-115 before pregnancy. It's amazing how fast you grow but like I said I started out with a C cup but I've always been bigger there so you may just hit a C but ya never know. Either way I got a small and a medium in that top and they both fit comfortably in the chest, the medium was just for the growing belly in case the small didn't fit me in a month.

Bummer, it was too small and now they don't have *any* in my size and I had to return it. In hindsight, i should have bought two sizes so that I could just return the loser. Definitely strapless support, but way too small in the bust.

Can someone help my find a similar style somewhere else? I don't like any of the ones at Motherhood, really. :( :help:

How much support do you really need though?I'm fairly well-endowed and found that the best solution for me with a new baby, and spending the whole summer at the pool, was to invest in an Aussie rash shirt and cycling shorts (proper swimwear): Sunsuit
Baby, in an Aussie baby suit, had easy and discreet access to the breast. I wasn't exactly running around - just lounging. And, as you say, in the pool, the buoyancy of the water did the trick.
