That is completely unrelated to what I just said. I'd argue that your view- that masturbation is dangerous- leads to or is an unhealthy view of sex and sexual desire. That being obsessed about purity to a point at which you ignore the Bible and appeal to tradition to get your view on purity is unhealthy and inaccurate. So then those people with unhealthy views of sex should get them corrected so they don't have to live under a bunch of legalistic garbage. So than people who have unhealthy views of sex should not touch.

Of course I do! But responsible does not = doing whatever tradition says, it means doing what the Bible says, and the Bible draws the line at intent, at coveting, not at desire or fantasy, as has been clearly and concisely demonstrated throughout this thread. So you will not even submit that you have to be responsible with it?

Um... did you forget what you just said?Right, and all I said is that it CAN get out of control. "Can" implying that you have to be responsible.
re: curiosity: Masturbation is an issue that is in and of itself harmless, but it has a potent ability to envelope and destroy. It is a fire that should be dealt with cautiously, if at all.
Says who? If the correlation can be seen directly, it's dangerous.
You called it dangerous. And cautious is not the same as responsible. Cautious is what I am when I'm dealing with fire. Responsible is what I am most of the time. Two very, very different things. Don't try to weasel out of what you said.Same thing... "delt with cautiously" /responsibly...

Have fun with your... troubles in communicating. And happy finals week.I'm not trying to change what I said, I'm clarifying my meaning. Of course it's dangerous, like driving a car is dangerous. There are risks especially if you're not cautious/responsible.
