oH! you are to funny, and i appreciate a good laugh, but i also see there is a seriousness about your post because i can see you feel you give in to much? I think i would never say, or would just keep it silent because they never mentioned it until they came out with forums, Sunday was a sermon and communion and home and out to play etc. if you did this thing, no one knew, and you did not even think of it, or if it was a sin. Children never knew how to spell it, never mind know if it was ok or not. Today every thing is a sin and no one practices what they preach. onlyhiswrod

You restrain from what is human and you might go out and do worst to a child or woman, how can anything that God made be bad for you if in moderation, expecially when you are married? Alot of poeple are told this is a sin so they have a brain cramp and do not touch their wifes and then go out and touch other woman or chidren subcounciously be cause you are told not to touch a woman or look at a woman so it embeds into your brain and you do not touch a woman you touch a child to substitute a woman, get it? onlyhisword

Yeah, me too. Intro statistics, macroeconomics, and American government/politics. Stats and macro are the only ones I really need to obsess over. I'm more worried about the cold... It was -30 out most of the week!

Many studies have shown sexual dysfunction in marriage for those that have grown up in churches that teach all sexual thought, desire, ect.. outside of marriage are evil. However, it's more towards woman than men, because of the emotional componant. Many are unable to let go even in marriage because they have spent all their lives believing sexual desire is evil, a piece of paper doesn't change that.

It can be, yes. Slippery slope becomes a fallacy when "argument states that a relatively small first step inevitably leads to a chain of related events culminating in some significant impact" but I only stated that it could, thus making it dangerous not wrong and avoiding fallacy.

How can you POSSIBLY see a correlation between divorce/etc. and masturbation? If there WERE a correlation do you have any idea how high the divorce rate would be? How much adultery would happen? Try putting THAT to a confidence interval!

Just because one person has a porn problem doesn't mean everyone will. I'd argue that an unhealthy view of sex and sexual desire leads to porn, not masturbation.
