Psalms 8:3-9 KJV
3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? [Heb 2:6]
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. [Heb 2:7]
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: [Gen 1:26-28, 1 Cor 15:25-28, Heb 2:8]
7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; [Gen 1:26-28]
8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. [Gen 1:26-28]
9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
Hebrews 2:6-9 ASV
6 But one hath somewhere testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? Or the son of man, that thou visitest him? [Psa 8:4]
7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; Thou crownedst him with glory and honor, [Psa 8:5] And didst set him over the works of thy hands: [Psa 8:6]
8 Thou didst put all things in subjection under his feet. [Psa 8:6, 1 Cor 15:25-28] For in that he subjected all things unto him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we see not yet all things subjected to him.
9 But we behold him who hath been made a little lower than the angels, even Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for every man.
1 Corinthians 15:24-28 ASV
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet. [Gen 1:26-28, Psa 8:6]
26 The last enemy that shall be abolished is death.
27 For, He put all things in subjection under his feet. [Gen 1:26-28, Psa 8:6] But when he saith, All things are put in subjection, it is evident that he is excepted who did subject all things unto him.
28 And when all things have been subjected unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subjected to him that did subject all things unto him, that God may be all in all.
And in the following Paul is informing the observant reader that the order of the creation accounts are not specifically meant to be understood in a strictly linear chronological order, for he says, Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, (Gen 1:26-28), but that which is natural: (Gen 2:7), then that which is spiritual, (Gen 1:26-28).
1 Corinthians 15:45-47 ASV
45 So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. [Gen 2:7] The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
46 Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, [Gen 1:26-28] but that which is natural; [Gen 2:7] then that which is spiritual. [Gen 1:26-28]
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: [Gen 2:7] the second man is of heaven. [Gen 1:26-28]
The first man is of the earth, earthy, and is formed-created in Gen 2:7.
Genesis 2:7 KJV
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
The second man is of the heavens and is given the dominion, Gen 1:26-27.
Genesis 1:26-28 KJV
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Therefore the Son of Man is Master even of the Shabbat, (Mrk 2:28, Gen 1:26-28, Gen 2:2-3).
