A mass shooting has been reported near Baltimore, though immediate details were scant. The Harford County Sheriff's Office tweeted that "multiple victims" were shot and that the "situation is still fluid."

It's not "near Baltimore" if you live in Towson. It is "near Baltimore" if you live in San Diego or Berlin.

Quibbles aside, thanks for the link. I have family and friends in the "near Baltimore" area, one of whom works in Aberdeen, so I'm going to be watching this story as it develops.

was racking my brain trying to remember the last time I heard about a woman doing a mass shooting...

out of 100 mass shootings, seems like only 2 were committed by a woman...

That is interesting when you think about it.

Maybe only women should be allowed to carry guns?

I'm kinda serious... of course, that could never work... but I can't help but think about it...

Considering that I was immediately able to remember two mass shootings that involved females, I became skeptical of the source you quoted. This study by the FBI says that there were six female shooters form 2000-to 2013.

I found this interesting as well.

There were 160 incidents 2000-2013 of those 107 (66.9%) ended before the police arrived and could engage the shooter, either because a citizen intervened, the shooter fled, the shooter committed suicide, or was killed by someone at the scene.
