Mass Confusion

Mass confusion with illusion
In our lives is an intrusion.
What’s before us is delusion
Of the masters of confusion.

Pit us now against each other,
Father, mother, sister, brother,
Make us hate one or the other,
For it serves as their own cover.

Do you get it? All’s deceiving,
Hoping we their lies believing,
Redirect us to what’s cleaving
So their lies we’ll be receiving.

Get us anxious, this way, that way,
All in hopes our minds they will sway.
Here’s the story for us this day,
But tomorrow ‘nother trash tray.

All distractions from what’s crucial,
Hoping they’ll meet our approval,
So we’ll not see their removals
Of those who meet their recusal.

Lies, deception, are their story,
While removing truth that’s gory.
Blame the others; their vain glory,
While they keep on in their hoary.

Open up your eyes to see them
How God views them, and believe Him.
We’ve been duped by those who are grim,
Who are living out on a limb.

Ask the Lord to show you what’s truth,
Then stop hearing those who uncouth,
Read the Bible, let stick like glue,
Read it, read it, through and then through.
