How does he tell you; through men like Alexander Hislop? The Two Babylons was discredited by real historians long ago. Not only did he make wild connections, he fabricated things. The man started with a presupposition and worked backwards and reached really hard to make things fit. Even folks who were well and ready to believe him found out his work was a sham, to their dismay, when they actually checked his sources. Jack Chick and his little con-artist friend only made an even bigger gothic novella out of the whole kit and kaboodle by taking his work and running with it (no need for source citations and truth in that little fantasy land). Always check your sources and quit getting your history from hysterical conspiracy sites.

She, along with the famous satanist and formulater of "magick" Aleister Crowley (whom she knew) is credited with the popularization of the occult, the reintroduction of paganism and the development of neo-paganism.

I would hardly consider her a credible source on any matter related to Christianity.

yes, we are free in Christ are we not? through the Incarnation God became a being we can see and touch, and make pictures of.
The skull is a powerful image, it reminds us that we are all going to die, but it is also true that in Jesus we have hope of life everlasting, Ezekial had a vision of a feild of dry bones, seems like God has no problem with useing bones as a symbol, why should we?

The Mary in the New Testament is not Venus, but when Rome wanted to have its cake and eat it, they changed Venus into St Mary.

There is a Egyptian Trinity- Osiris, Isis and Horus.

Horus is the anti christ the resurrection of the sun God Osiris.
