Martyrs

If a martyr held a heresy that he/she would refuse to give up if he/she knew it was a heresy would that person go to heaven or hell? if the answer is heaven ,my question is why. If Hell then why, since we can't know anyone’s heart, is the church so sure about martyrs when declaring saints?

For martyrs, a miracle is still needed before the person is made a saint, to ensure they are in heaven. Two miracles are needed for non-martyrs.
