doesnt really talk about wether his disciples were married either
some people think the gospel of mary is fake, some think she was a prostitute even though there is no ecidence of this at all
mary magdalene holds a special place among some christians, islands in canada are named after her, numerous churches and monuments etc all over the place
odd if she was a prostitute
my point is that lots of things were left out of the bible for reasons we do not know today
gospel of thomas being one of them
why is it almost 60 years and we still dont know what the dead sea scrolls fully entail?
my other point is that i dont really trust anyone, i don't trust churches, or people, because they are dishonest.
so when a church or the vatican says, It is this way, not that way, i look at that with speculation, like i look at everything,
Once again, its incredibly hard to know... We all know that there is no definitive version of the Gospel, and it The Gospels were carefully selected... "Matthew, Mark Luke and John" were groups of people, rather than single men.. It is the mainly the group theories, and says more about faith V. Science... Have you notice that the Gospels left out *I tend to examine things a fair bit... so bear with me* were all those that painted Jesus as a human prophet? We probably dont see the dead sea scrolls because what is in them would be detrimental to the Catholic belief system; worshipping Jesus as part of the Holy Trinty. If it were proven that Jesus were a mortal prophet, by painting him as anything other than a divine, lustless figure then the very foundations of certain Christian groups would be destroyed.
Pick up one of these other Gospels... These were excluded for a reason...
