  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Just married, she's the organist at a large Adventist church.
I am a Pentecostal preacher.

We get along just fine, we just don't talk about certain things.
When you have the most important things in common, you don't have to.

I can see that there nothing but things ahead of us, we are blessed beyond measure with plenty of things to keep us busy.

Thankyou for sharing this with us here. How did you meet your wife, and what prompted you to marry? I am glad to hear you say "we are blessed." That's certainly a good start!

We live in the same building, we met through mutual friends, we were a couple within a week, we were married within 28 days.
We basically got married because we knew what we wanted, and we were ready.

Wow; that was fast! But it sounds like you are off to a good start. Does it worry you guys a little - being married to someone with a different faith back ground? I know with my Grandmother; she was Catholic, and married to a Protestant. They had a good marriage for many years till he became sick. So it is possible. :)
