Dear Friends,

Please pray for me as I try to work out my marriage. We have been married almost 19 years but still continue to fight over the same issues mainly finance. When I try to approach my husband over payments to be made knowing we have the money to pay them, he gets angry and yells about it. Seems like no timing is good timing. I am afraid of what the future holds. He is so stressed with his work that it comes back on me. I am only working 1 day a week but he wants me to work much more but we have no one to care for our son and we can't afford to pay someone to do so. I told him how I felt about certain things and he has shut down to me for nearly 4 days now. I, now, do not know what to do. So I will ask for prayer from others and continue in prayer myself. He just runs from me when I try to ask about anything. Thank you for your prayers.:prayer:

your right to pray and keep praying. Try to come together in worship of God, take time each day to pray or read Gods word or both. i suggest you think about counseling for you both. Don't give up marriage is worth working at.

Praying for you.

I second what Blu says...:)

I'll be praying for you. I have been in situations where I shut down and did not want to talk with my wife when I was worried about certain things. If he is worried about losing his job due to cutbacks or other problems, then I can understand somewhat why he might be that way.

You should try to make sure he understands how your feel. Forget the bills and job for a moment and simply ask him if he still loves you. Ask him if there is something wrong and remind him that you are there to help and not to nag or bring him down.

If your husband still will not talk with you after that I would recommend speaking to a pastor for advice. Don't give up on your marriage. Finances are a big problem for many people and come between a husband and wife often.

Is your husband a believer? Have you spoke with your Elders about this issue? I will pray for you.
Ditto, youngster. You truly need your Church Elders. The Church is the Family of God and can be approached just as you would your mom and dad.
