• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

well she did love the gift. She actually didn't cry, until she got to the card that said "See our grandchildren for the first time." Then she cried. Mission accomplished.

The wedding was great too! A few small snags, but nothing major. Everyone enjoyed themselves. She didn't cry as much as I thought during the ceremony, which meant I was able to hold myself together...which was definitely something I was nervous about. Not that it's not okay to cry...but I was worried I'd be blubbering through the vows.

I have some pictures I'm gonna post in the gallery here soon, I'll post back with the link.

here's a few pictures for those interested:

http://www.christianforums.com/t728398

and you can actually find the full set from my digital camera at http://photos.yahoo.com/mathias1979 . Most of the pictures from the ceremony turned out blurry though. I think it was because whoever was using my camera decided to turn off the flash, and the camera tried to adjust with a slower shutter speed.

Can I suggest you commit to set aside 1 weekend every 2 years to enrich your marriage by attending some kind of course/retreat?
got it covered ;)

didn't specify that we should do it every year or two...but we do want to take part in some retreats and stuff...so it shouldn't be a problem.

This might not fit into the realm of what the index cards are for, just mark it for marital advice-

fight naked- everyone is one even playing field and all your cards are out on the table...

God Bless- have a great wedding and a holy marriage.
