I'm not one that likes to admit they take what they learn in a movie as more than a two hour entertainment escape, but there was a movie I saw when I was... I don't know... twelve perhaps. I thought the name of it was "The Mark of the Beast", but I can't google anything about it. I remember it was in color but it didn't look very recent as the credits were at the beginning of the movie and the quality was pretty grainy (circa 1960 - 1975 maybe).
Anyway, I kind of just took what I remember about the rapture happening before the tribulation and never questioned differently until now. Now I'm reading about a majority that agree that the rapture happens after the tribulation (if it even happens at all). I've never seen the Left Behind series, because I've never cared for apocalyptic scare tactics, so I don't know what happens in that movie.
So, two questions:
1.) Does anybody know what movie I'm talking about?
2.) Is there any apocalyptic movie that sticks to what the bible outlines?
