In the example you gave, it has nothing to do with buying or selling, and I am not sure where those chips go in the body.That would limit how a person with neurological problems can be treated. I don't think we would be tricked into the mark of the beast with medical treatment for neurological conditions. The mark of the beast will be able to be rejected because Christians will not trust it because of other reasons other than it being a chip - there will be accompanying signs and it will be associated, depending on your Eschatology belief system, with the antichrist. I haven't seen any sign this chip to treat a man being paralyzed has to do with the antichrist, and this would only be a very little medical device for a specific treatment. The mark of the beast will be widespread and involves identity and buying/selling. Not matching this at all.
