I used to listen some of his sermons quite a few years back and while they were often helpful I really didn't like his style of oratory. The trajectory Mars Hill was on meant that it has been heading towards this for some time

I for one am glad to hear of this. Titus and Timothy are pretty clear about the qualities required of those with church oversight.
