People say this is the last election. If Obama can figure out how to button down the swing states maybe he can lock himself and his puppet in.

Maybe, cos it is not just one election that has taken us into oblivion, but many years of multiple elections that have taken us into oblivion. How many years you may ask? At least a half century, since the beginning of the nuclear and information ages (which started in the 1940s and 1970s respectively). With all the nukes that Russia, China and North Korea have, as well as the artificial intelligence and social media used to spread misinformation on both sides, we are heading down the wrong path.

Yeah, I sometimes want to travel back in time and prevent myself from making mistakes. The mistakes made me into the person that I am today, a sinner just like the rest of us. But yes, altering history could be risky if we ever had the chance to. It is good that we do not have time travel tech at our disposal, cos you know me: One rash decision with the time machine, and I screw up the entire timeline.

But if your rash decision changes something substantial the it will always have been that way that things played out.
If you go back in time and somehow stopped the development if time-travel, you’d just get stuck in that time.
I do not currently live in the time when we have time-travel, (save for that one-second-at-a-time, “forward” kind), so whether or not someone screws with the timelines it matters not to me.

Yeah, I remember watching Back to the Future in early 2015, and the movie discussed an alternate 1985 timeline. A small change in the past could have a profound change on the future. All I need is a Flux Capacitor, and a car capable of sustaining speeds of 88 mph.

I think God does go back into the past to resolve issues. Otherwise He would just be healing memories. I have had dreams about the future and I have come to realize if there is something traumatic then we will reach back into our past to warn and prepare ourselves. Once I had a dream a mechanic was reaching into my wallet and taking all of my money. It turned out to be a problem with my son's car. It cost me $2000 and it cost him another $2000 when he went to trade that car in. I should have taken the warning any bought a lower deductible insurance.

The reality is that media does influence people's world views as Star Trek (60s) did mine. The character Spock resonated with me about logic and I chose the field of electronics because of "space travel" After all didn't we send a man to the moon?
