I can't help but notice that instead of just answering the question it was replying to, attempts to divert from that question. I'm sure I'm not the only one watching the previous talking points fall apart when questioned.how much is standing against oppression and war crimes worth? I hope that is not a serious question you are asking, you need to reflect on the value of money vs the value of human lives.
How can you prevent a war in a world where people will kill to steal their neighbor’s land? It has been this way for years. In the Bible Israel was attacked by Egypt (Shishak/Shoshenq), Philistines, Assyria, Babylon and others. The Greeks attacked during the time of the Maccabees. Romans ruled Israel during the time of Christ. Since 1948 Israel was attacked by Arabic speaking peoples numerous times including the 2016 Hezbollah conflict. There was the Infitada that resulted in Israel building of a border wall. There have been Gaza rocket attacks. There is no quit in the Ukraine army they are fighting to the last man, too bad we have an administration that is more concerned with funding than preventing war crimes.

It's getting a little frustrating people keep quoting the 10 commandments post I did about it being from over 2000 years ago but ignore the follow up about God being in disproval of murder from the first human family ever to exist. Just scroll down a few posts, it's there I can post a link to my reply if you'd like. The first human family will pre-date Zoroastrianism by a long shot.
It says something that you think that this question:I can't help but notice that instead of just answering the question it was replying to, attempts to divert from that question. I'm sure I'm not the only one watching the previous talking points fall apart when questioned.
Is even worthy of an answer. It is not and it is indicative of a flawed value system, just to let you know. How much money would it take to "prevent war crimes"?
Are you attempting to assert that there would not have been much less death and destruction if there had been more available weapons to defend the country? Rockets falling on apartment building is one risk but mass graves of civilians and non combatants tortured and executed and women raped and children abducted is quite another. The people are will to fight the least we could do is supply them with the needed weapons and supplies, we have been reluctant to do even that much out of fear that Putin might do something to us, we act like cowards instead of the most powerful nation on earth.Your question was presumed US money could prevent war crimes. So let's say the US had given 50 Billion in military aid. How would that have stopped Russian rockets from hitting apartment buildings?

what deflection are you talking about?? I think I was very clear, war crimes would have been reduced substantially if there had been the weapons that were needed. How exactly is that a deflection of any kind.Your deflection -twice now - is noted.
The fact is, there is no plausible way to prevent war crimes by Russia...unless you're advocating for a declaration of war by the US.
Any one watching the news on any network is very aware of the fact that the Ukraine has been begging for weapons since the Russians started the build up, how could you not know? and no where did I limit my post to small arms that is your addition. The Ukrainian people didn't have enough weapons to defend themselves? Can you cite some reports along those lines? From what I have read, Ukraine has been preparing its population for several years, including many local militia etc. Of course, not everyone is able to defend themselves...even with weapons.
What evidence do you have that the US denied small arms for the people to defend themselves?
Hey look, an attempt to make the discussion about fabricated personal failings of people pointing out that these sorts of posts are attempts to distract away from the fact that right-wing talking points don't seem to do so well holding up to scrutiny. It says something that you think that this question:
