Argh, how annoying! Man that must have been a pest... I can remember placing 1st at the last second using Golden Mushrooms and Stars, etc. Those last-second victories are great: the winner is happy and the loser's joypad ends up unplugged on the other side of the room

LOL! Well, being in the UK it'd be quite hard! But with this new Warp Pipe thing we could play over the Internet sometime. Threeway Double Dash... or fourway... or however many players way That would be very cool. Just watch out for all the flying controllers, anyone would think it's a new powerup! j/k!

Go Nintendo!! I'm suprised people are actually considering to buy a Gamecube, because most people like PS2 or X-Box better. But like I said, go Nintendo! Super Smash Bros. all the way! And Mario as well...

Another Mario Kart game is on the way? *drool*. I love those games. Is the little turtle guy back? I was sad to see he didn't make it on the N64 game.
Ah well, I don't have X-box anyways. I'll probably wait till its real cheap, then I'll get it.

The turtle guy? Koopa? Yep, he is a confirmed racer. Paratroopa (the red turtle with wings) is also in it. They have a cool special weapon too, they're pretty good racers.

Koopa was my favorite racer in the original. Boy, could he turn those curves with precision!

Really?? Awesome. He was my fav racer too.He may not have been the fastest, but he could ride really smoothly.

His special weapon (Triple Red or Green Shells) <--highlight this text to see- appears very often, and it's really handy for catching up. It's total chaos when you have it in 1st and fire them back

My boyfriend and I play almost every night. I love it! I don't like the big guys like, Wario and Bowser because they weigh a lot and slow me down. I usually get Koopa and Daisy (just because everytime you switch to Daisy she says "Hi I'm Daisy" and it drives my boyfriend nuts!). I don't think I've tried everyone yet, I'm pretty partial to some more than others.

Lol! The triple shells are really handy - you can get them in first place. What do you think of Battle mode?

Lol! It's not for everyone, but don't be put off by the so-called "kiddie" approach... if you don't like sheer multiplayer carnage and furious racing, don't try this game

Hey ya'll. I rented the game tonight. Only played a few courses, but WOW! I like it, I like it! Even hubby, who's not really a gamer, held his own pretty well. He asked me if I liked it so far... (There's a hint of Christmas gift thoughts floating in the air...)
