A curious question to theists that only needs to be put simply and bluntly.
What do you think of him?

He is actually a very intelligent individual, if I were judging based on his interviews. He does seem to enjoy controversy, but it fits into his presence and philosophy for his act.

And I do enjoy a good deal of his music.

Sure he is controversial, but that is just his game for selling his product. He makes a lot of sense, if you listen to what he says. I have been a fan since portrait of an American Family came out in the mid 90s.

These replies surprise me. I imagined a lot of fundamentalists would dislike him for a lot of his imagery and his anti-theistic views. I don't generalize all Christians into one kind of mindset, but I'm just saying that I expected more hard core "fundies" to comment. I enjoy your input, though. c:

I already have. I personally don't like Bill O'Reilly, and I know he had his own reasons to invite him onto his show outside of the fact that he wanted to interview him. Even so, it really doesn't matter. Marilyn is still one of my favorites in the art of music. c;

I love his music :3 I think he is very talented and intellectual. So much more than me. He mastered shock value Off note, my fave albums of his are Portrait of an american family and antichrist superstar. Both very well done.

Brilliant musician and lyricist, but his newer stuff has been very "meh" worthy. Hopefully the new album will be more worth listening to.

Hey when i was younger i followed the grateful dead around, but at least they "looked normal" but once jerry died, and i became a Christian, looking back it whole expierence was biazrre! Almost like worshipping something else? :o

Yeah back then i believed in God and all, but now i Have a relationship with Him!

I think what would He think of the music im listening to?
Would he think it's pleasing? Edifing?

Not saying that the music you listen too needs to be Christ center always but when you choose to go outside of not worshipping The One True God, with bizarre thing you have a different expierence!

I don't understand why people like yourself whom don't share the same taste in music feel the need to blast music that people enjoy. Does it make you feel superior? Bigger? More of a man?

Well done! I went to the Antichrist Superstar concert and it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. It's not metal... I think it's more industrial than that, but that's my own opinion. Very smart individual and can work a crowd like a pro.

what do you mean 'inexperience'?? Do you mean life experience or music experience, because I have experience in both. I play bass guitar, piano and trumpet. And actually if you want to be technical you can define what 'real' metal is. The lyrics are different, the vocals are different, the tuning is different and the overall playing style and instruments incorporated could also be different. The characteristics of each subgenre defines that specific subgenre, but I don't want to go into too much detail. . .
