• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You can choose between CBD oil or Low THC buds in jars in the dispensary.

But, you still need alcohol, or some other similar/derivative functional group to extract the alcohol-soluble CBD. "Legal" AND needs to be processed.

THC is alcohol soluble also, but you don't need to process it as a smoke/vapor. And, you don't need chemical processing to make edibles, since only heat and fat are necessary to extract the cannabinols.

State legalization doesn't matter.

States don't use their States' rights, so the Federal Government can come into any if those states and arrest someone for the possession and/or distribution of the "drug." That is why CBD has been presented to the masses in the first place.

Cannabis - the actual naturally growing plant - is Federally illegal.

It's not addictive in most cases. Physically it helps people with opiate addictions break the habit becasue it reduces the pain of withdrawal from opiates and is not physically addictive itself. There is alway physiological addiction but those problems are comparatively minor.

"W2L, post: 73526278, member: 388513"]Honestly i have concerns about the medication im on. Im worried its not safe for my body. I wouldn't take it at all but i think it might be helping with some things. Some people say that medication is a sign of weak faith or whatever else they believe, but im not bothered by their criticism, im humbled in my low estate, and i thank God for that. All things work good for those who love God. So praise the Lord! I feel so blessed.

It's not necessarily a matter of 'weak' nor of 'strong' faith - whoever does take it has faith that it 'works',
or just thinks they have to.
When it works, good.

There are plenty of legal useful things, but not widely known, per se. See a doctor trained in what is much older than current medicine, but is uniquely or unusually called alternative medicine (it came thousands of years BEFORE current medicine) ....

BY TESTING, he should be able to show clearly, the same as anyone in the world TESTS you could do,
what will help, and what will not,
and what is going on in the body.
Then, on the TEST RESULTS, determine what is needed for the body, if anything, to help get the body balanced again, as much as feasible or possible.

I dont know, for most people it seems addictive. It is however not as bad as heroin.

Essential oils MIGHT help, are not addictive, are legal to buy, and may have no side effects or drug effects when used properly.

The varieties with low THC have no addictive properties, and THC is not physically addicting.

I know that God made plants for our meat and medicine. I have been an herbalist for over 30 years.
But as I look at this plant, I think the problem is the smoking of it. Normally, one would never want to smoke any herb. Burning herbs creates many new and potentially harmful chemicals. Breathing it in on purpose just doesn't seem too clever.
If you really look at it for what it is,you should see that it is a food. A spice. The strong aroma gives it away. And it would obviously be used like one. And here is the kicker....IN MODERATION, just like all the other herbs..
Imagine a bakers pinch of oregano in your pasta sauce. It's great. But nobody would put a whole tablespoon of it on your plate, as it would give you some negative effects.
From the research I am aware of, the benefits of cannabis are fully available in micro amounts. That would be like a small pinch. All of the stories we hear about red eyes, dry mouth, anxiety and the like are simply side effects from over consuming it. It's really that simple. And it appears that eating it is the best method, as a large portion of the endocannabanoid system is located in the gut.
And the gut is where most diseases begin.

God's Cannabis plant doesn't cause paranoia, AKA, fear. What God's plant does, is show you the truth of what is inside of you. Cannabis "wakes us up" to the truth that is within us. So, this means that when I felt paranoia after using God's plant, the "medicine" was showing me the truth of myself, which is that I was consumed with fear.

I didn't realize it, but Cannabis was showing me that I needed to work on my fear. But as said, we humans are satisified to tell ourselves, "I'm not afraid of anything, so the paranoia is not real nor does it reflect me at all!" We cannot think like this anylonger. If Cannabis is pointing out that we are afraid, then we must do something about it.

Also, with normal Cannabis use, we shouldn't experience bad side affects. It's when people want to inject just ridiculous amounts of Cannabis that people begin to suffer. And I dare say that Cannabis is no more addictive than sex, driving fast, or being cruel to oneanother. Regardless of what we do, we need to possess self-control....and Christians ought not choose what they control and do not control.

I am sure actually. My doctor says it causes paranoia

I'm sure that your doctor would say that as his knowledge increases with time, so does his understanding of how wrong he has been in the past. I can prove, through my own life, that it does not cause paranoia.

Ignorance never makes anyone correct.
