Your points were clearly designed to make my position seem completely unreasonable.Look,Pot has been illegal in this country for around 60 years.60 years. Somehow we've managed to survive as a nation without legal pot.I will agree that the malaise of drug sales and interdiction have caused a great burdon on society. However it's not due to supply but use.If I choose to smoke a joint. Who did that? It was me wasn't it.I chose to smoke. I could also choose not to.Things are bad, but believe me nothing is ever so bad that it can't get worse.Legalising pot isn't going to cure the ills brought on by drug use. It will cause a boom in use. And it will throw down the gauntlet to legalising all drugs. Boy we'll have it made when that happens. But it isn't going to happen. Pot won't be legal. I can live with that.I'm pretty shure you can too.nvxplorer said:This response is completely irrelevant to to the post you quoted. Care to address my points?
