I use to hate pictures that made Mary or our Lord look too European, but ive grown to accept that its the artist's depiction. The "black" depictions that i grew up with arent very accurate either tbh.

I can explain just why the pictures of our Lord and the Blessed Mother look white, and it is definitely not because whites are closer to Jesus than non-whites; The opposite is actually closer to the truth. When Jesus comes in His Power and Glory, it will be the non-whites who dominate His Church. 'Foreigners will rebuild the temple of God'. Those loving and faithful to God will be the ones who become the 'New Jerusalem', and in the 'New Jerusalem', under Jesus' Rule, whites will be hard to find. Ephraim will become a waste at Armageddon.

Ephraim is Sarah and Abraham's great, great, grandson. Ephraim was white as was Sarah. White pride is a big target for God when Armageddon comes. You will have your day. Ephraim, the white race, is the Book of Revelation's, 'Harlot of Babylon'. The Harlot of Babylon is going to fall and she is going to fall hard. It is non-whites, like yourself, who will dominate, in Christ's Kingdom Come. It is a tough subject. but I can show you just why things are, presently, the way they are, if you like. God knows and sees what is going on in the world. Remain loving and faithful to God, through obedience to God, and you will see that this white pride, blessing of Abraham, thing will not last much longer. The sins, and especially white pride, of the white race are specifically targeted, by God, at Armageddon. When Jesus tells us that the mountains will be knocked down and the valleys built up, it is white pride that He is talking about as the mountains.

I've always liked Our Lady of Czestochowa

I have a personal devotion to this icon- I would one day love to see the original (make a personal pilgrimage to it). Right now I have a small icon of it in my house and a near by cathedral has a side chapel dedicated to the icon.

This is one of my favorite statues of Mary with Joseph and Jesus too. I love how Joseph is holding Mary who is holding baby Jesus Warms my heart!
