Yeah, I definately enjoyed my self. We "tradition", "sabbath prayer" ,"the bottle dance" (though our color guard couldn't do the dance from the show!:( ), and some others. It was medely of most of the best songs from the show.

I remember playing mostly Drum and Bugle Corps standards like "Malaguena" and "Taboo". I think we considered "Carmina Burana" and "Phantom of the Opera" but for whatever reason we scrapped them and did them for our pops concert instead.
Festival season was always my favorite. We played "La Gazza Ladra", "Festive Overture", "Russian Christmas Music" and "Capriccio Italien" among others. All of them were the original scores just altered so the string instruments were reassigned to various horns. Very challenging and a lot of fun. I still love those pieces!

At our highschool our drama club has done "Grease" and "Seussical the Musical" (the band providing the music). Next year we are considering "Les Miserables" and/or "West Side Story". Our choir has sung "Carmina Burana" and songs from Rent, Les Mes, and I'm sure others. Band has played Les Mes along with the choir...our school loves Broadway, lol.
