Many Gifts

"Now there are diversities of gifts,but
the same Spirit."

We speak many times of the many gifts,
all of the same Spirit of our God.
Yet in these times of the falling away of
the church Gods Spirit is adapting.

We walk with our God in a time of hunger.
Many seek the gifts of our God.
But as they look,they see only emptiness
feel little of Gods Holy Spirit in His church.
New lambs wonder,but the Elders know,
this is the time of the falling away of Gods
Elect.

Called into home worship,the true believers
gather in unity,for babylon is soon coming.
The church is filling with unbelieving believers.
Gods Spirit is driven away,and the god of
entertainment is filling the building.

God is preparing His people for the spiritual
famine to come.
The Holy of God,have received the many gifts,
which will carry the hearts of His children
during these foretold times.

Several ministries,independently working
away from any established church building
flourish,anointed of our God. Waiting!

As sin abounds,His grace doth much more
abound.It will be dealt with in Gods love.
In the meantime, Jehovah Rapha.

You will know them by their love,
and by their fruits.
No one speaking by the power of the
Spirit of God can curse Jesus,and no one can
say,"Jesus is Lord," and really mean it, unless
the Holy Spirit is helping him.

Many of those called Holy,will manifest Gods
Spirit among the elect.
Few are anointed with many gifts,
but all still of the same Spirit.

"But all these worketh that one and the
selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man
severally as he will."
1Corinthians 12:11

"For by one Spirit are we all baptised into
one body,whether we be Jews or Gentiles,
whether we be bond or free; and have been
all made to drink into one Spirit."
1Corinthians 12:13

I was reading a book tonight and then I read your posting, lampwicke, and I see a connection (hopefully others will to). The book had a story about a prison camp, and almost all the prisoners had been there for a long time. The prisoners had divided into groups, some were militant and launched attacks on the guards, there was a social club, there was a cultural club to maintain their traditions, there were groups devoted to philosophy and science. A new prisoner arrived and noticed that the only exception was a single lonely prisoner sitting all by himself. He went up to talk to him and this is the advice he got: "pay no attention to all the rest of them, they've lost sight of what's important, none of them are studying the fence!"

If all those prisoners were working on the fence, there would still be divisions, because no two people are created alike nor with the same talents. However, the team effort would be toward overcoming the fence, living in the world not of it. In the absence of the Spirit (focus on the fence in the analogy) the differences cause us to scatter and become weak.

Precisely,a excellant analogy.I appreciate us older folks,for youth has a way of seeking wisps of smoke,and many times seeking only what is the immediate,never looking far enough ahead. It is only when you refuse to allow "time" to rule you,do you have our Lords peace within. Thank you for your kindness within your words.The fence is always maintained and in well order,and opens and closes in both directions,as God would have it! In His love,
