  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi has anyone heard of this company and/or it's products.

I'm being told it will help improve my Fibromyalgia by boosting my bodies ability to heal itself and produce hormones etc.

They also have a weight loss system called GlycoLean & GlycoSlim.
I'm tempted to try these things but was wondering if anyone had heard anything bad about the products.

Thanks for your help
Shaina

Do you take any nutritional supplements and do you find it worth the money?

The company is more of a marketing firm than anything. They do not make the products they sell, but few companies do anymore. Getting actual ingredient information was harder than it should be for MannaTech products. The first indicator whether a product is "for real" or just a marketing scheme is if they list ALL ingredients. MannaTech, by their own admission on their website, is dedicated to providing financial success to their "associates."

I don't really know anything about their products, but I'm the type of person that looks to the source of the information. As far as I know, they don't sell their products in retail environments. This, to me, is a HUGE indicator that screams 'pyramid scheme.'

Dear Shaina

Do me a favour and Google ''Manntech''. The FDA in the US has not put it's label of approvement on the product, nor has any accredited, respected university.

Further more, it is stuffed with tons of sugars and sucrose that your body produces naturally anyway.

May I be blunt? It's most definitely a pyramid scheme system. And its horribly expensive. I wouldn't touch MT with a ten meter cattle prod, because they promise all sorts rubbish that they can't ( soundly ) back up scientifically.
