Please pray for every fan of the muscian Mandisa. She passed away recently at the age of 47.

Very young ... she must have completed here assignment here.
And so now she has gone home to be with the Lord ...

Just saw this today. I only listened to one song of hers several years ago and never kept up with her as an artist.

I never knew much about her, either. Except that I love her song "Overcomer".

But since her passing, I've seen much on YouTube discussing her life.
Does seem she has had an impact on the lives of many who did follow her as an artist.
There are numerous YouTube videos where Mandisa talks about her ongoing struggles with depression.
I found those discussions to be particularly interesting, insightful, uplifting.

I remember when she was on American Idol.

She died from morbid obesity.

Such a terrible loss.

May she rest in peace.
