Managing Your Sexuality!

Now in your youthful period,your hormones are super active and you are easily attracted to the opposite sex knowingly or unknowingly,sensual emotions build and accumulate so fast whenever you see male's masculine physique or women's seductive appearances.Honestly these are the struggles that many young adults are subject to but less or nothing has been said about it and Satan uses these platforms to plunge people into secret sins and immorality of all kinds.My few work in the Lord has helped overcomed these but i have heard,conseled,and seen young adults fall victims of this SEXUALITY MISMANAGEMENT.What do you think are the practical ways of overcoming/managing your sexuality?

1. Cut off its food supply. Do not watch, read, listen to, or view online anything which might tempt you. Stay away from movies with sexual scenes. Beware of sensual TV commercials. It only takes a small splash of skin to get the mind racing.

2. Eat a good diet. Renew your mind with God's word and focus only on things that are pure, noble, right, true, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. (Philippians 4:8)

I disagree with the bolded part. Young adults hear tons about sex from their peers and from other people on all sides of the issue.

I've also heard that exercise and cold showers can be helpful with reducing urges.
