CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, you're assuming that those prophecies are to be fulfilled in the (relatively) near future. So, human-made climate stability may not be against any prophecy if it isn't to be fulfilled soon.

Could the systems God devised for us be Language?
Is the Logos the mind-of-language?
Are the necessary presuppositions for language the first-principles of logic?
If yes to the above, would that imply that the first-principles emanate from God's nature, as a necessary standard?

Pretty sure you couldn't have every day being summer, everywhere. Not that we actually could succeed, but attempting to force this kind of stability would probably result in as bad an outcome as forcing the rate of temperature change to accelerate, if not worse.

The irony. Most of the people already suffering from raised temperatures have too much heat anyway. So much for summer all the time.

Um ... well ...
What I'm saying is, that in the beginning, the earth was one uniform temperature, and until the Flood (not the Fall, by the way, I erred with that one) --- but when the Flood occurred, that's when the water canopy came crashing down to earth, exposing the earth to polar climatology.
And yes, I know Adam and Eve heard the voice of God in the cool of the day (Genesis 3:8).
I'm not sure how to reconcile the two viewpoints --- yet.

So what of the new version of man-made global climate change?
I was under the impression that this was a new thing, like since the industrial revolution.
Seems to me that, these lastest developements pail in comparison to the flood.
