Man gets 10 years for carjacking a Rolls-Royce on the SW Side - CWB Chicago

A man who carjacked a Rolls-Royce on Chicago’s Southwest Side while still on probation for a gun case won’t be riding in luxury anytime soon. A judge gave him a 10-year prison sentence Friday, but he’ll serve about half that with good behavior.

In five more years we can only hope and pray he doesn't kill anyone. This is the problem with gun control, gun control advocates seem to want to severely punish everyone except the criminal. The first time there is a violent offense (not by a homeowner or permit carrying citizen defending themselves) there should be a long jail sentence.
