Folks we are facing some serious issues today in regards to the LGBTQ agenda to force acceptance and completely shut down freedom of speech that opposes them in any way. Including sharing opinions or failing to accept the ideology. Remember speech is violence. And they are actively pursuing government intervention to shut you up including arrest if necessary and sendi g you to re-education.

In the UK a veteran was arrested for causing anxiety in a person due to a social media post. Including in this was a way to avoid a fine by going to re-education to teach you proper thinking.

The man re-posted a post where a person created a meme of a swastika made from gay pride flags. The meme was created as a protest against the the way gay pride month has been enforced with hectoring authoritarianism.

Someone saw the meme and reported the incident to police.

We are headed this direction here in the US. Title 9 is now looking at rules expanding on the "harassing" rules. To such an extent of using government to shut down and eliminate your free speech.

Some of this has been put in hold through the courts but it's not decided yet.

Hold onto your hats. If you don't cowtow to the LGBTQ ideology the efforts to shut you up and punish you are in full swing.

Don’t go posting offensive things online. Seems obvious. UK is not America where being awful to people is not frowned upon. People in the UK are held to a higher, better standard of decorum.

Obviously.

Being awful to people is definitely frowned upon in much (most?) of America; we just generally don't get to call the police over it. Freedom of speech means some people will be jerks, but the line here that is not to be crossed is speech involving threats to safety, rather than whether what is said makes someone sad or angry. People in America are held to a higher standard in dealing with their emotions without involving the police.

Obviously.

Always such a shame when that higher standard includes shooting each others faces off when they slightly annoy each other. Maybe there could be some way of avoiding Americans annoying and killing each other?

A law, perhaps?

I'm pro gun control, if that's what you're getting at. Better that than speech control where you can go to jail or face heavy fines for making someone sad on the internet.

I would never aim for the face, and I would hope my fellow heavily armed citizens would extend to me the same courtesy.

People getting their faces shot off is worse than stopping people generally being jerks?

That is such a strange attitude.

I kind of think this is bullying. No one has the right to protest using such vulgar symbolism to prove a point. Blessings.

Well that's sick. In the US, posting that on Twitter could get you a ban, but not an arrest. If I knew somebody who did something like that in real life, I would shun him. Shunning is an appropriate response to jerks.

And yet the left is working extremely hard to change create a society in America where you can be punished for your opinions.

Not to mention that you go to jail and gave heavy penalties when you do shoot someone's face off for annoying you.

Hold on...searches diligently, hmm... Can't find anything in America that hold people to a high standard for shooting people in the face for annoying you.

I believe people who do that end up in prison. I would assume that being in prison isn't a high standard that everyone supports.

Maybe you have a different definition of high standard that the rest of humanity.

I agree, but do you understand the reason for the post? Which in itself is a protest against the authoritarian push for the gay pride month and ideology.

Oh and guess what. This man's arrest is proof of the authoritarianism. It seems like meme was spot on.

Kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy there. Complaining about authoritarianism in a way that's sure to get the authorities to crack down. Kinda like hording illegal weapons to protect yourself from the government taking your weapons, which prompts the ATF to conduct a raid.

Good. Garbage options can take a hike.

When people say “the Jews will not replace us” or “the gays deserve to die” or “let’s shoot FBI agents” or “Christian Nationalism is fine” they should reap what they sow.

Hateful people are bad for society. They deserve all they get.

Different, to America. Where you shoot each other in the face and mouth and yet do nothing to stop it from taking place.

How effective is locking face shooters up? It’s like swishing one ant and then being surprised when your picnic is still ruined.

But the geniuses in America still think locking people up will work; so on it goes. Every other normal country has worked it out. But I supposed the gun industry has to have it’s profits: no matter how many people die.

It is interesting that Paul, preaching the Gospel in a culture where homosexuality was rife and accepted as normal, did not speak out publicly against it. Sure, in his letters to Christians he mentioned it as a sin, but there is no record that he spoke against it when preaching to the unconverted. When he arrived in Corinth, a city that was well known for its male temple prostitutes, to preach the Gospel and plant a Christian church, he determined to know nothing among them except Christ and Him crucified. He said that it is the Gospel of Christ which is the power of God leading to salvation to those who believe it. Therefore his view is consistent with that of Jesus in dealing with social and cultural problems: "You must be born again." It is of no point to rail against issues in our culture, because one would be talking to people dead in their trespasses and sins and all they would be able to perceive is homophobic hate speech. Therefore, the religious zealots who rail against transgender and homosexuality are merely making a rod for their own backs.
